The ultimate trust decision was made the day I put my trust in the grace of God. Like a new born baby there is going to be growth. So, I would say that my trust has grown because there were times in my walk with Christ that I did not trust…or did not have the faith for…however a person may want to word it.
The past couple of years have been some of my most challenging years as a believer. Yet through it all I have learned I can trust God with anything. That includes my sins, my weakness, my assets, my money, my family, my church….the list could be endless.
So, the ultimate trust is putting my faith in Jesus Christ…but there is room to grow in the arena of trust once a person makes that decision. I trust one day Jesus will return to receive His people… I trust in Gods Word… I trust for His provision… I trust for His comfort, counsel, and care… The day I put my personal trust in Him I didn’t even know what that stuff was about. So, yes, my trust has grown.
Have you put your trust in Christ? If so, I hope you continue to grow in His grace and that your trust in Him will reach an all time high. Thanks for a great question.
Pastor Mike,
Do you trust God more today than you did when you accepted Christ as your Savior?
